From today and for 10 days, the best ingredients from the Azores islands will be brought to the table by experienced chefs for another edition of the 10 Fest Azores.
Organized by the local School of Tourism and Hotel Management, the event brings together 10 international cuisine professionals who’ll explore and take advantage of the best regional products.
Names like Jessica Carreira and David Costa (USA), Justa Nobre (PT), Roberto Sihuay (ES), Olivier Vigneault (CN), Nuno Mendes (UK) and Tiago Bonito (PT) are just some of the chefs featured in the 10 Fest Azores.
The meeting point is set for the Anfiteatro restaurant in Portas do Mar, and the meal — a tasting menu with six dishes and wines included — costs between €45 and €69.
So, if you’re traveling through São Miguel or you’ll be there until June 30, don’t miss the opportunity to taste the best Azorean flavors.

And since we are talking about the Azores and its regional products, did you know that it’s in São Miguel that the Gorreana tea is produced, the only tea plantation in Europe?
