The concept came from Bali directly to the front of the Ericeira hotel, next to the South Beach. It’s called Nalu Bowls and it’s the new spot-sensation for the healthy eaters!
I chose a sunny Sunday to go try out the place that has appeared so many times in my friend’s social feeds. The small colorful bowls are serving as a business card and are attracting visitors to that small terrace. I also went after it. 😉
Presented in a small coconut shell, the Nalu Bowls are based on açaí. Served with fresh fruit, granola, and other elements, this is a great meal for a brunch or after a day at the beach.
Surfing paradises introduced in bowls
The menu is full of suggestive names linked to surfing, such as Coxos (a clear tribute to Ericeira), Pipeline, Mavericks, Teahupoo, JBay and Uluwatu, of course, as it is one of the best-known beaches in Bali.
The price of a bowl can vary between €7 and €9. What I advise against is asking here for a coffee, since you will be charged €1.20. An exorbitance! But the terrace has few tables and it’s not fair that these are occupied by those who just want to take a cup of coffee.
For this, there are a series of benches next to the wall where you can relax and listen to the music that is always playing.
If you already know this place or are going to visit it, share with me your thoughts in the message box. And if you’re going to Ericeira, don’t forget to visit other spots in this small village that I’m proud to call home. 🙂
