Brunch time is already an institution on Sunday morning in Lisbon and they’re a lot of places were we can indulge into this pleasure.

This time we went for Café da Fábrica, at the Lx Factory.

The decoration is very nice and it give us the feeling that we’re entering someone’s living room.

But, the first no-no is at the arrival. The small counter and the fact that the person behind it is getting the order and, at the same time, doing part of the service, means that the waiting time is a little more than we’re expecting. But still, after all it’s Sunday!

But, let’s get to the important part: food! For 12€ the menu is quite nice. Scrambled eggs, homemade jam, yogurt with muesli and homemade cake. Maybe replacing the butter served by something more homey, as well as cheese and ham for products with more flavor. But overall, not bad.

The cakes that are at displayed in the window at the time we are making the order forces you not to stick with just the set menu. But, just look at this Chocolate and Oreo cake … How could you resist ?! (The value is charged separately).

Overall, a good option to spend a Sunday morning, especially in these winter weekends where laziness prevails.
