If you’re like me — and I think like most people —, your phone is full of applications. News, social networks, WhatsApp, Spotify and, in my case, a good number of travel apps.

I love to plan and whenever I have a destination in mind, I start to see flights and accommodations, as well as places I want to visit.

The following apps are the ones I consider essential these days.

Of course, others can be a valuable addition. I’m talking about applications like UBER, Google Maps, or Lonely Planet. But these five are important to anyone planning a trip and can help you get cheaper prices or select a good place to stay.
