“Is it safe to travel to Egypt?” The question came up recently on Instagram when I challenged my followers to share their biggest travel doubts.

Indeed, Egypt is a fascinating destination full of history, culture, and incredible landscapes. Still, it’s not uncommon for those who want to travel there to have doubts about safety, especially in the current context, with the Middle East facing instability in some regions.

The concern is valid, and honestly, I share the curiosity, which is why I went to do more research on the matter. After all, a well-informed trip is always more enjoyable.

To answer this question, I did detailed research into Egypt’s current tourism scene. The conclusions I reached are all explained in the video from the “Travel Questions” series on my YouTube channel. Travel to Egypt: check with official organizations before you go

Besides watching the video, if you’re really thinking about going to Egypt, remember that it’s super important to check official organizations in your country, as well as internationally, before going. They have the most up-to-date information and have reliable sources for assessing the safety of any destination.

For Egypt, I recommend contacting the embassy and checking whether the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues any travel warnings. In addition, communicating with local guides and operators can help you understand the reality on the ground.
