EASYJET SNEAKERS — A GUIDE TO YOUR FEET

Easyjet

The Sneakairs (any resemblance to “nike air” is pure coincidence :-)) are sneakers that, connected to an app, indicate the way forward using a vibratory system.

We introduce our destiny in the application (which is Google Maps oriented) installed in our smartphone. In turn, the integrated sensor on the sneakers communicate with the app via Bluetooth and begins to give us vibratory indications in accordance with the path to be taken. If we have to turn left we feel vibrate the left tennis shoe, if right, the other foot vibrates. There are even two vibrations to indicate that we went too far and passed our destiny.

Of course this is all just a prototype that is being tested in Barcelona — The Barcelona Street Project — but wouldn’t it be so fun if it went forward? 🙂
