Maybe this post comes a bit late because the summer has officially started, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to remember Stonehenge.
“Why Stonehenge?” You’ll be asking. Because this is one of the most sought-after places in the world to celebrate the summer solstice.

The event is not new. In fact, it is believed that for thousands of years to this date the celebrations have always taken place there since Stonehenge is seen by many as a sacred place.
Located in Wiltshire, England, this is perhaps one of the most famous prehistoric monuments in the world. It was considered, in 1986, as a World Heritage Site.

In addition to its entire history, Stonehenge has always been involved in a lot of mystery, not only because of its construction but also because of the lines in the terrain that can best be seen in altitude.
Followers of Paganism, New Age, Druids or simple onlookers, meet annually at this place of worship. But outside solstice day, this is a must-see monument that receives thousands of visitors annually.
Tips To Visit Stonehenge
The historic site is open every day from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm and it’s recommended that you buy the ticket in advance.
Also know more about the guided trips. Those who have already made this visit agree that a guide can be an asset.
