The World Press Photo exhibition returned to the Electricity Museum, in Lisbon (Portugal), with the awarded images from 2015.
It’s been two years since I last saw it, but this year I made sure I wouldn’t miss it. Besides, it’s not every day that a Portuguese photojournalist wins one of the categories. 🙂
Of course it’s needless to say that the images are wonderful and very impactful. From the best nature photographs, going through amazing pictures of everyday situations and some of the most memorable moments of today’s news, as in the case of the Syrian refugees.
The expression of certain faces is recorded by the camera, which transfers it to our mind as a photocopy.
To see the exhibition you’ll have to pay 2€, next to nothing given the “journey”. So, if you happen to be in Lisbon until May 22, it’s worth the visit.
